REAL BIKE LANES COMING TO WILDOMAR 2 Replies This will be the first opportunity for Citizens of Wildomar to see first hand what is in the works for this exciting project and to add input.
It was a good ride, but I’d hate to take that same ride without being in a group. Too much of that stretch is very bike unfriendly. Again, thanks for the lift back home… my cheeks appreciated NOT having to sit on that seat another minute.
It was a fun ride which brought forth some disturbing statements from those involved. One such statement was that this is free money and if we didn’t take it someone else would, like Los Angeles County, not true in the least as this is taxpayer supplied money which the state doles out to each county based on population. The second statement was that this work in the next ten years could be completely undone as development happens, two million dollars for something that could be gone in a few years, the problem with free money. Another observation was the amazement of the KOA representatives to the middle school letting out, I guess they have never seen kids get out of school before, no seemed to notice the bike rack which also contained less than a half a dozen bicycles.
